The Lantern Festival is the first full moon night of the Lunar New Year. It is a day to worship and admire the moon. It also symbolizes the coming season of spring. It is the last day of the traditional Lunar New Year in definition.

The traditional customs of the Lantern Festival include eating various flavors of rice-ball dumplings ((called: Tang-Yuan)) and “guessing lantern riddles”. People will write questions on paper, and then use thin lines to hang each question under the lantern, just like words puzzles.
It is associated with FIRE and means to burn evil and doom, then bring a positive light for people to the future.

This Tiger Year, 6 cities in Taiwan will hold Lantern Festivals at the same time. A lantern show full of technology is being staged in southern Taiwan (click the Green bottom for show times). I guess this remarkable performance becomes very competitive to the other cities.
This is amazing…I am watching…no time for writing now…*_*
