I never thought that I would become an amateur novelist and music lyricist & composer. The ancient stories I wrote are all very profound and difficult to understand poems. Even Taiwanese Canadian professors must be fully resourceful in philosophical theories and life experience in order to understand them. The most painful thing about the novels I write is having to insert punctuation marks appropriately. Later, when I read ancient books, I realized that there were no punctuation marks in ancient books at all. I’m a little submissive now, my soul is really ancient…hahaha~
I don’t quite like modern novels, because the content is like a maze and the writing style has to go around in circles, which will confuse people’s minds. I like to write short and focused, preferably a poem that captures the essence of the whole content. Now, I have found my hobby: writing lyrics.

I write fiction books and lyrics, and there’s a concept of juicing. The works and results must be original and fresh. This will have a positive effect on the physical and mental health of every person who comes to taste the holy product. I know it sounds weird, but that’s Jessie Lee.
Each song tells a sad or inspirational story with its beautiful melody. I hope to use simple English songs rich in Chinese life philosophy to allow Westerners to experience the Eastern way of thinking. My English ability may not be good enough to write English poetry, but I try my best to express my emotions in every story song.
